The Last Caravaggio at the National Gallery of London

Caravaggio shows us an intricate interplay of guilty, innocent hands, lights, and the mastery of one of the greatest painters to have ever existed.

After 20 years, "The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula" by Caravaggio returns at the National Gallery of London for a unique exhibition.
The painting is displayed alongside the National Gallery's late Caravaggio, "Salome with the Head of John the Baptist". It's amazing to contemplate these masterpieces: the troubled end of Caravaggio's life, the stories of Ursula and Salome, and reflecting on violence today.

At the National Gallery of London until 21 July 2024.
