Discover more about Prosecco DOCG

Since 2019 the Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene (https://www.prosecco.it) in Northeast Italy, the area where the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is produced, has been listed in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List (https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1571) for its outstanding universal value.

These beautiful hills are characterized by a distinctive hogback morphological system which provides a distinctive mountain character with scenic vistas, and an organically evolved and continuing landscape comprised of vineyards, forests, small villages, and agriculture. For centuries, the harsh terrain has shaped and been adapted for the viticultural practices using Glera grapes to produce the highest quality Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. This distinctive viticulture landscape results from the extraordinary interaction of nature, people, and cultures over several centuries. Today, the values of Integrity, Authenticity, and Quality are the core of any protection and development processes of this extraordinary and unique wine.
