Marina Abramović retrospective traces the long journey of the award-winning artist, known worldwide for her intensely challenging works, through which she has shaped themes, methods, and languages of performance of our age.
The most comprehensive solo exhibition dedicated to Marina Abramovic is on view at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Featuring 60 key works, the exhibition starts from her earliest pieces created at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and in the Dutch city, where she moved in the mid-1970s and met Ulay - who would become her artistic and life partner - up to her latest projects.
